From what I have seen this is a pretty rare seiko. Just a beauty to look at. I replaced the battery and it started ticking right away. I have not checked it for 12hr time accuracy. All functions work as they should. The crystal does show some scratches and dings but nothing too serious. It is a solid watch with only ordinary and normal wear.  It has never been damaged or anything like that.
