When you drop the rear of these trucks, the axle tends to hit the frame as you drive and this kit allows you to notch and reinforce the frame for added clearance. Our C-notch kit is made of heavy 1/4" thick steel plate (other kits use thin 3/16" steel which can break!), and we designed a kit that fits the contours of the frame perfectly. Kit comes with hardware and bumpstops and there is no need to modify or pound on it until it fits (like others on the market). This kit bolts in but can be welded for extra strength and is the perfect upgrade for your lowered vintage Chevy truck.
