This is an antique colour postcard of Basutoland, South Africa with an undivided back. It shows a beautiful view of an English General, who does not know anymore during the Boer War. On the right side Paul Krüger (1825-1904) is laughing. In the background are Horses. The sign says: “gezouten”(= salted)  This postcard was published by N.J. Boon in about 1900. So it is more than one HUNDRED and 20 years OLD. Artwork by Ernst Gustaaf Schlette (1873-1948).However some slight brown aging it does not affect the picture (see scan) and it is still a great collectable. Condition: good.
