Turn Off the Power Disconnect the dishwasher from the power source for safety.
Remove the Old Gasket Open the dishwasher door and locate the old gasket. It is usually found around the perimeter of the dishwasher door or frame. Gently pull it out of the groove.
Clean the Groove After removing the old gasket, clean the groove where it was seated. Use a damp cloth to remove dirt or residue.
