These are the Japanese Katsura Tree which are the very beautiful cercidiphyllum japonicum - tiny pink flowers appear on bare stems in early Spring, followed by unusual heart shaped, aromatic leaves and in the Autumn these leaves turn oranges, red, and yellows to give a magnificient display. Leaves then drop for the Winter months.
Keep topped in the Winter to keep it at any size - they also make fabulous container trees for the patio or garden!
The photos show some of the ACTUAL KATSURAS on offer taken throughout the year (last one in April 2025) . These are large multi-stem 6ft-7ft (inc. pot) trees in 20litre pots with a 3ft-4ft spread . You are buying one katsura tree which will be sent in its pot.
POSITION: Outdoors, these beautiful trees will prefer half sun to full sun.
WATERING: Keep watered if in a pot - in the ground, you will not need to water it at all.
PRUNING: It is deciduous, losing all its leaves in the winter month, so can be pruned tokeep the height down in the Winter.

SHIPPING: Please note that our shipping days are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only - due to the perishable nature of our plants, we do not ship over the weekend, so if you are ordering plants on a Thursday/Friday/Sat/Sun then your plants will be shipped on the Monday/ Tuesday following. If you are buying multiple plants, then please ignore invoices until finished purchasing, and await our combined invoice with discounted shipping.Very sorry, but we do not ship to N.Ireland, offshore Islands (inc. BUYING MULTIPLE PLANTS?
