Antique Macomb Stoneware Pottery Crock Jar Holder Gallon Illinois 1899-1913 Crazing Patina 8" tall x 7" wide

Condition:
This is an antique crock or jar from Macomb Stoneware Co. in Macomb, Illinois.  This company was in production between 1899-1913.  It is made of stoneware and is a heavy container. It probably had a lid but that is missing. It has great crazing and patina.  It measures 8" tall x 7.25" wide x 4.25" wide at the opening.  It weighs 4 lb 9 oz.  It is in very good condition.  There is one area of possible damage on the inside rim but it looks old and does not compromise the piece.  It is an antique, handmade piece of pottery, so manufacturing flaws and inclusions add to the patina.  It has an overall crazed appearance with a glossy finish.  There are no major cracks, chips, or damage.  Please see the photos for specifics on the condition of this gorgeous crock.
