1995 Press Photo Maurice Lott admires wooden duck decoy made by Buddy Gallardo

This is an original press photo. Hundreds of school kids were at the site of the Isleno Museum Days Festival being held at the Ducros Library and Museum in St. Bernard Village. Local "Islenos" folks were showing off their talents at the festival. Maurice Lott, 8, a student at Sebastian Rox School admires the wooden decoy made by Buddy Gallardo, 68, who was born at Delacroix Island. He now lives in St. Bernard. The decoy is almost ready to be painted, he said. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 03-23-1995.
