Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this vintage, framed, Canadian landscape watercolor painting on paper by M. Jones. Please excuse any glare in the photos. In a modernist style, this painting depicts a view of the Copper River at Prince Rupert on Kaien Island in British Columbia. The artwork is framed and matted under glass in a wooden frame. The sight area within the mat borders is approximately 14 3/8 inches by 21 1/2 inches. The exterior frame dimensions are about 19 7/8 inches by 26 7/8 inches. Unpacked, this piece of art weighs approximately 6 pounds 6 ounces. This would be a great addition to a collection of Canadian fine art.
Identification
This piece is by the artist, M. Jones. I have not located biographical information about this artist. The location in Canada is noted on the back, "Copper River, Pr. Rupert." The exact age is not known, but this is a vintage piece.
Condition This piece looks great overall, as shown. There are no creases, holes, or rips to the painting. The watercolor paper has minor rippling, like most works of this medium. The frame has light wear and the mat looks very good. The back side is as shown. In my opinion, this piece is ready to hang and enjoy. 1. Payments
Taxes may be applicable. The correct shipping address must be included with payment. Contact the seller before bidding or buying to find out about acceptable payment methods for local pickups or deliveries. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2. Shipping
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.
Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international bidding or buying. For international shipping, there may be parcel size restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. Customs forms will not be falsified.
