Offering this unique conversational piece!  This figural brass belt buckle was made in New Bedford, MASS. USA by Penco.  

It is an antique style Fireman's hat.  Quite heavy and solid.  Original sticker still on the backside.  

It has hand etched onto the hat these words:  

Twin Towers 

FDNY 

2001

Obviously something someone made post tragedy as a remembrance.  Perhaps they were there, or a loved one was in the FDNY.  So many questions...no answers.  

However, it is most certainly a one-of-a-kind item.  It measures 3.5 inches long by almost 1.5 inches tall.
