[Additional Information]
Tanto around the late Edo period. Unfortunately, it is mumei, but it has been polished and is in very beautiful condition.
The most notable feature is the koshirae. This is Matsushiro_Koshirae, a koshirae made by the Matsushiro clan. All the metal fittings are made of brass, and the scabbard is mostly red. This koshirae has arabesques painted in lacquer, and one can imagine that it belonged to a samurai of the Matsumae domain, a prestigious clan. It is a very decorative tanto.
