This is a leather satchel/briefcase/messenger bag.  It is 16" long, 11" tall, and 3" width.  It has a large open pocket on the back, a padded laptop sleeve and a second roomy section inside - along with 2 "envelope" pockets for pens, etc.  A large foldover  flap is held in place by 2 metallic snaps. It also has 2  silver buckles in the front for decoration.  It has a long cross body canvas strap which has a 26" drop from shoulder when extended to the fullest length. This bag is in good condition. There are a couple little “scuffs” ( please see last 2 photos- I have not applied any conditioning products, but I think that would make the scuffs less noticeable. The leather is marvelously soft is a beautiful rich chocolate brown. Very nice piece. Thanks for looking!
