The Grimoire of Armadel (original title: Liber Armadel seu totius cabalae perfectissima brevissima et infallabilis scientia tam speculativa quam practiqua) is a 17th-century French grimoire of angelic magic kept in the Bibliothèque de l’Arsenal in Paris.
It was translated into English by S.L. MacGregor Mathers and circulated in manuscript form amongst members of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. The translation passed into the hands of eminent English occult scholar Francis King and first published in 1980 with a full introduction in a much sought after first edition which is now very rare.
This edition reproduces Francis Kings translation in full complete with his introduction and scholarly notes. The facsimile is in large format and all the angelic seals and images are reproduced faithfully and intact.
Hand bound in green lambskin, quarter leather and cloth, seals of the seven angels embossed in gold. Edition is large format, colour printed onto fine paper, a faithful edition of the original French manuscript with facsimile of the original English text, two volumes in a custom made slipcase.
