Extra Large natural rainbow (mystic) quartz gemstone originating from Mozambique. This weighs 46.95 CTS and has been cut and faceted into an oval shape. The measurements are approximately 24.9 x 19.9 x 12.2 mm.

The stone has a dazzling display of bright rainbow - like coloring with bright flashes and sparkles. This could be considered a color changing gemstone, as different shades shift and move within it's surface. This would make an impressive pendant or large piece of jewelry.

This is a naturally earth mined gemstone and has been coated with a titanium chemical vapor distribution method (CVD) to produce a spectacular rainbow effect. The process is permanent and requires no special care.

The gem is fully transparent and has very good clarity, especially considering its size. There are some very slight natural inclusions that could be visible upon close examination, but would not be apparent under casual viewing. This can be considered near eye clean or SI clarity.
