COMMON
QUESTIONS
Question: How is this product packaged?
Answer: The foam will be vacuum packed inside a cloth
bag and rolled into a black plastic seal. You will need to open the black seal
carefully, not to damage the foam inside. Foam needs 24 hours to 48 hours to
breath and come back to shape. You must open the package as soon as it’s
received. PACKAGE WILL BE SMALLER THAN EXPECTED.
Question: Will the foam have a smell?
Answer: The foam is the highest long lasting quality new
foam that we carry that will give you a comfortable support that you need.
Please note that because the memory foam is freshly made the memory foam may
have a small smell to it, in which will go away within one week if you let the
foam air dry out.
Question: How do I know what the quality of foam
I’m ordering, how do I compare your foam to other companies?
Answer: When comparing different types of foam
with other companies, it is most important to look at the density and ILD of
the foam. The ILD or IFD measurement shows how hard or soft the foam is.
The higher the number, the firmer the foam. “AIt” also represents how many
pounds the foam will hold before it collapses. If you take a 12″ x 12″ x
12″ foam cube after the certain ILD is reached that foam will collapse.
Foam density is a specific measurement of how much weight in pounds
polyurethane foam can handle per cubic foot. This density rating tells you the
strength of the foam. The higher the number, the longer the foam will last. It
should not be used exclusively as a sign of durability or comfort, because
firmness and lifespan of foam products just like mattresses and cushions,
depend on many factors, including density. The density may vary slightly
between each foam shipment. The foam is poured a bit different each time the
foam is made.
Question: Is polyurethane foam toxic?
Answer: Once the chemical reaction of its
components has taken place, the result is a polyurethane foam that is completely inert
and harmless to humans. Contrary to what some people claim, various
studies certify that polyurethane does not pose a risk to the health of users.
For sanitary reason, all foam product(s)
are not
returnable if original packaging is opened.
All unopened merchandise may be returned with a 20% restocking fee of the
purchase price. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges both ways.
