AUTOOL SDT103 Car Smoke Leak Detector is an entry-level automotive pipeline leak detection tool. It heats the special oil (mineral oil or baby oil) into smok and blows the smoke into the sealed pipe system. The place where the smoke leaks on the pipe is the leak point. It can be used by connecting an external air source and a 12V battery.It is designed with a built-in pressure controller to fix the output pressure at 3.2Kpa (0.46psi), which is especially for EVAP system testing to prevent EVAP pipes from being damaged by excessive pressure. Operation Steps
 1.Connect external air source,output pressure at 3.2Kpa(0.4psi) |
 2.Unscrew the oil fller cap and add test oil. |
 3.Connect detector with DC12V battery, device starts to work. |
 4.Disconnect the pipe that needs to be connected with detector. |
 5.The pipe will be filled with smoke. Check the leak points. |
