Vintage Lead Pencil Advertising Coca Cola, 3 inches long, marked “Drink CocaCola Refreshing” on the side, probably early 1900’s, probably American, chip to the white paint on the end, very unusual advertising piece that is so small that it is probably often overlooked, the pencil is a solid piece of lead that has been dipped in red paint, the end then dipped in white paint, the point sharpened, and the advertising added, only the tip of the pencil shows light use with the rest of the point showing the spiral line of the sharpener, under the chip at the blunt end you can see the striations on the flattened end of the lead, probably given out by salesmen to retailers, the pencil is the perfect size to slip into memo books or calendars, classic.
