Shown displayed on my size small dress form, and it’s a good fit.
This 1970’s era peasant style shorts playsuit is a Mexican style, with hand embroidered flowers across either chest, with details of ribbon and crochet lace. It’s an hourglass, pin up girl style silhouette, with daisy duke style shorts, and a halter top that ties behind the neck. In the back, there’s smocking from the waist to the back of the chest, giving this a comfy, easy fit. The shorts have oversizes 70s style patch pockets on the front.
What makes this special: This is a lesser seen version of the classic huipil style, instead of being a tent dress, it’s fitted with shorts making this a perfect breezy summer style.
Outfit idea: Perfect for over a bikini at the beach.

Condition: Some all over yellowing to the fabric, with a few areas of spotting. I have stain treated and soaked out this piece, so it’s very faint. No other flaws or damages to note. Freshly washed and ready to wear.
