Simple operating environment with mic/line input jacks and controls integrated on the front panel

The newly equipped combo jack input on the lower front panel accepts a standard phone as well as a microphone input on XLR. The line input terminal on the rear panel is also equipped with a TRS (3-pole) terminal, supporting balanced connections. The controls (power switch, volume, and tone control) and combo jack input are arranged for simple and easy operation.

The "MS101-4" employs a bass-reflex type with a 4-inch full-range unit, and by placing the bass-reflex port at the rear, the height is reduced by approximately 1.8 cm to achieve a more compact housing. On the other hand, a new built-in power amplifier with a rated output of 30 W has also been incorporated to achieve a maximum output sound pressure level of 115 dB SPL, which is much higher than the size of the unit. In terms of sound quality, it inherits the clear reference sound of our powered monitor speakers, making it ideal not only for small private studios, but also for monitoring electronic musical instruments and as a communication monitor between the stage and the mixer console during live performances. 3.

Lightweight and robust materials are used for the cabinet, which, together with the compact size, has achieved a weight reduction of approximately 0.4 kg (from 2.5 kg to 2.1 kg). In addition, the power cable has been changed from the conventional built-in type to an AC inlet, which allows the power cable to be detached during relocation, and can be stored in a gap in the case or separately stored and transported, making it more convenient to carry.

The M5 screw holes (2 locations, 60mm pitch) on the bottom of the main unit can be used in combination with optional brackets (sold separately) to hang the unit from the ceiling or install it on a wall.
