The County of Botetourt, Fincastle Virginia. 25cent note/bill is hand serial numbered 2902. Dated July 5th, 1862. Hand signed. Botetourt County Notes are hard to find in any condition. Most were printed on cheap, Confederate made brown paper that did not circulate very well. This one is perfect, unissued, undamaged.
