Pads are ok , but will need to be replaced eventually , made  a complete play-thru, and it sounded  better then the Vinyl or CD

Please note due to their vintage nature all 8 track tapes are sold as is.  Even if they test out OK on my  portable tape player they may need maintenance now or in the future including replacing foam pads, regluing splices, and replacing/regluing foil pieces. There are lots of web pages and YouTube videos that describe how to do this.  All rollers should be in good shape with no stickiness unless otherwise mentioned.
