Very good Australian import digipak.

The movie (2001, dir. Richard Kelly) starred Jake Gyllenhaal, Jena Malone, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Drew Barrymore, Mary McDonnell, Katharine Ross, Patrick Swayze, Noah Wyle, Stu Stone, Daveigh Chase and James Duval.

Condition:
DISC: EX. Looks superbly clean on visual inspection. No scuffs or marks. Stored and handled carefully. Played just pre-listing and plays through fine.
DIGIPAK CASE: VG. Some scuffing to edges through normal handling and a few marks/dents on front but nothing major. Standard digipak. Light scuffs to bottom left corner of inside flap. Overall, a nice example.

"If I had to pick a word to describe Michael Andrews' hauntingly beautiful score for Donnie Darko, it would be... retro-futuristic. The score is retro in the sense that it was performed mostly with instruments built in the 60's and 70's (it wasn't until I hung out with Mike that I discovered what a vocoder was), and futuristic in the sense that synthesized musical scores became prominent in the science-fiction films of the early eighties (Tomita's Snowflakes are dancing and Vangelis' score for Blade Runner were often conversation pieces)."
