Edo's Karakuri Robot, which automatically carries tea, moves forward, bowing, and spinning with a spring mechanism.

Cute hand-held size with a height of 13 cm. The small body fits in the palm of your hand and is equipped with a mechanism that is almost the same as that of the tea transport dolls made in the Edo period. A series of movements such as moving forward, bowing, stopping, and turning are programmed into the robot.

▼ The power source is a spring, so there is no need for batteries. The balance is based on a clock's speed-regulating mechanism, and a cam converts rotational motion into complex movements. The assembly instructions are carefully explained with illustrations. Even those who are not familiar with assembly can complete the main unit in about 30 minutes.

A special kimono is included (made of paper). Two types of clothes are included: Japanese-style clothes that allow you to enjoy the authentic construction, and Western-style clothes that can be easily created, allowing you to dress up the doll and have fun. The instruction manual is fun to read as well as to make and move.
