A nicely detailed vintage solid sterling silver charm pendant of
 Pip from the cartoon characters, Pip, Squeak and Wilfred".

"Pip, Squeak, and Wilfred" were cartoon characters that first appeared in 
1919 in the British newspaper, Daily Mirror. Pip was a mongrel dog who 
was found on the Thames Embankment and sent to a dog’s home where he 
was bought for half a crown by Uncle Dick. Squeak was a penguin and Wilfred a rabbit.
