Complete folded letter in Greek from Ancona, Roman States, with scarce Austrian Lloyd Agency marking "AGENZIA DEL LLOYD AUSTRIACO / ANCONA" sent to Patras, Greece, with arrival postmark on reverse. The Ancona agency opened in 1835, but it could not handle any mail from the Austrian office until 1838, as the town was under French Naval Occupation until 1838.  Scarce early usage.
