BMW Brake Pad Wear Sensor - Bowa

1 Series M, 128i, 135i, 325i, 325xi, 328i, & more
Monitors brake pad wear to provide a minimum thickness warning and should be replaced during a brake service whether tripped or not

Brake pad wear sensors are used to monitor the thickness of your vehicle's brake pad friction lining. When the minimum safe thickness is reached the pad wear sensor comes into contact with the brake rotor and opens the circuit which in turn triggers a warning on your instrument cluster notifying you that it is time to service your brakes. Whether or not the pad wear sensor has been triggered it is highly recommended to replace the pad wear sensor when replacing brake pads. They tend to become fragile with age and can easily break when removed from old brake pads causing false warnings after completing the service,

BOWA engineers its brake wear sensors in Germany, which are then 100% manufactured in their modern factory in Poland. This means that every brake wear sensor offered by BOWA is produced by BOWA – nothing is re-boxed from other suppliers. Unlike the competition, who claim they are "the" OE Manufacturer, BOWA is the predominant supplier of brake wear sensors to the German car makers. BMW trusts BOWA almost exclusively for production and aftersales, shouldn't you?

Ceramic brake pad set utilizing a low dust formulation that reduces brake pad and brake disc wear

ATE Ceramic brake pads are a new generation of low-abrasion brake pads that keep wheel rims looking clean a lot longer. Their high quality has made a big impression in the comprehensive ADAC brake test. Together with ATE Original brake discs, they took first place. ATE Ceramic brake pads have less abrasion thanks to their special pad formula, which not only reduces wear but also benefits the environment. At the same time, they have excellent braking performance for maximum safety. ATE Ceramic brake pads are easy to install in place of standard pads. Your wheel rims will shine, and so will your eyes.
