    Regarding F6B models with HEATED GRIPS... *Heated grips can be a major problem due to their extra thick flanges and wires exiting where this lock is designed to fit. There have been times when we could not install these on models equipped with heated grips.*

    FYI... The manufacturer says this will fit without grip removal but we have had to remove a few grips in the past when there was not enough room between the grip flange and the switch housing. You may not have to remove your grip, but you could need to to make room like a few we have had to. We want to be fair and let you know about this up front.

DESCRIPTION:

    Have you ever noticed after a few miles of riding at a steady speed how much your hand and wrist fatigue?  Well, I have good news, you aren't alone.  The folks at Sound Off Recreational Inc. have devised an affordable throttle holding device to help you deal with this issue.  The Vista Cruise Control is a device engineered and manufactured here in the U.S.A.   The S.O.R. throttle locks are made to the same standards as the first one they introduced back in 1976.  Their goal is to be: functional, affordable, durable, and rider installed.  All of the S.O.R. cruise controls have been time tested over millions of miles by thousands of riders.  The cruise control works by counteracting the throttle spring tension. It is activated with a simple flip of the thumb lever. This gives you a positive speed control at any setting without throttle creep.  For safety’s sake the cruise control can easily be overridden with a twist of the hand or completely disabled by the simple flip of the thumb lever.  When properly adjusted, at NO time is the throttle locked solid.  When the lock is engaged, the throttle stays where you put it, yet it remains easy to turn back and forth. When the lock is turned off, the throttle returns to it's normal function. The amount of throttle holding pressure when the lock is engaged is adjustable making it as easy to override as you are comfortable with.  It is a non-electronic device which makes installation quick and easy.
