1944 Press Photo Dog from Fort Lewis, Washington with Litter of Puppies

This is an original press photo. "Casual" is from Fort Lewis, Wash. She's not in the army; she gets no cash. The boys of Co A, replacement engineer battalion, they say that Casual's pups are "dogs of war." Which is true, cause Casual springs from Camp Abbot, Ore. Photo measures 8 x 6.25 inches. Photo is dated 10-12-1944.
