Instructions for installing a universal sunroof for a car.

1) The sunroof is installed on the central part of the roof of the car. 

2) The distance from the rubber insulation of the windshield to the front edge of the cut-out hole is made individually, taking into account the location of the interior lighting on the ceiling and the stiffeners in the roof. 

3) Apply the plastic roof frame to the roof of the car in a position where you will make drawings on the roof for further  cutting. (ensure that you measure correctly that roof is placed on the correct location, with equal distance from left and right side of the car roof)

4) Cut a sunroof hole in the car roof along the cutting line you had marked as described in point 3. 

5) Check the cut-out hole by attaching a sunroof there. If necessary, modify the hole. 

6) Glue the sealing strip to the roof of the car. 

7) Apply a thin layer of silicone sealant to the sunroof flange adjacent to the car roof. 

8) Insert the sunroof into the hole. 

9) Install the bottom frame. In this case, it is necessary to stretch the ceiling upholstery. 

10) Trim the excess ceiling fabric covering. 

11) Remove excess sealant between the sunroof and the roof of the car.
