Stem Repair

  1. Turn off water source.
  2. Remove screw and handle.
  3. Remove valve stem cap.
  4. Remove stem by unthreading turning counter clockwise.
  5. Replace this 3 items.
  6. Reassemble the hydrant.

Vacuum Breaker Repair

  1. Turn off water.
  2. Remove old cap by lifting up and off with flat head screwdriver.
  3. Unthread bonnet.
  4. Remove old parts.
  5. Reassemble new parts and thread in bonnet.
  6. Replace cap.

Stem Packing Repair

  1. Turn off water.
  2. Remove screw and handle.
  3. Remove valve stem cap.
  4. Replace this 4 items.
  5. Reassemble the hydrant.
