1972 Press Photo Thomas Willson explains magnet separation at The Rivergate

This is an original press photo. A magnet used for separation and handling of steel cans is the American Iron and Steel Institute's display at the National Association of Retail Grocers of the United States exhibition in The Rivergate. Thomas Willson of New York City, senior vice president of the institute explained how separation and recycling of cans can cut down on solid waste disposal costs to the cities. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 06-27-1972.
