This is an original press photo. Archbishop Francis J Spelman of the Diocese of New York wearing mitre and carrying the Crozier preceded by officers of the mass in the processional at St Pattricks Cathedral May 15 where he celebrated the third of a series of masses commemorating the 25th anniversary of his first mass. The congregation filled the cathedral and included 2 archbishops 26 bishops 50 monsignors and 500 priests.Photo measures 8.75 x 7inches. Photo is dated 05-15-1941.
