1960 Press Photo Richard West Freeman Jr. with Daphne Barringer in New Orleans

This is an original press photo. Miss Daphne Barringer of Philadelphia daghter of Ambassador to Tripoli John Paul Barringer and Mrs. Barringer, who is pictured at a luncheon at the Fair Grounds clubhouse with Mr. Richard West Freeman Jr., was a visitor to New Orleans and Bogalusa during the recent holidays. The early part of the holiday time she was the house guest in Bogalusa of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goodyear Jr., who entertained there at a picnic for her and Miss Nancy Rathhone of Old Westbury, Long Island, New York, another visitor. Later, she came to New Orleans, where she stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Hayne. Miss Battinger, who attends Bennet Junior College in Millbrook, New York, has now resumed her studies. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 01-7-1960.
