1965 Press Photo Bobby Gorden, pretty young wife aboard the crashed airplane

This is an original press photo. Also aboard the airlines were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gorden of 2616 N. Lakeview. Neighbors called them "two beautiful people who looked like they just stepped out of a Hollywood movie." "He was tall dark and handsome and she was beautiful blond," said Mrs. John Nims, a neighbor in the three story building across from Lincoln Park, where the Gordens had a spacious seven room apartment. The couple were married about three months ago, Mrs. Nims, a free lance writer said. It was the second marriage for both. The Gorden's previous marriage: daughters Jackie, 9 and Kelly, 4 and a son Kenneth, 7. Photo measures 7.75 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 8-17-1965.
