  • Installation Method:

    1. Clean the oil pan before installation, making sure the area and threads are free of excess oil and contaminants.

    2. Thread the piggyback plug into the hole, turn it forward a few times, then backward a few times.

    3. Once the plug is bottomed out, remove it and clean any iron filings around the punch hole

    4. Using a T-wrench, tighten the plug to approximately 14ft-lbf.

    5. After installing the return plug, screw on the small return plug and the installation is complete (Note: When removing the small return plug, make sure the large return plug is in a fixed position)
