First edition, with only five hundred copies printed. This is copy number 401, signed by both authors, Cyril S. Adms and Robert S. Braden. With an additional inscription 'To Fred Nurse, A Fine Shot and A Good Sport- Cyril Adams', dated October 1996.
Bound in a fine, red cloth with the image of a bird, encased in a smart black slip case.
Cyril Adams was an engineer by training, and used his analytical approach to use, build and restore shotguns. Adams used this knowledge in his series on Sporting Firearms, of which this volume is number four.
This work is filled with information on the merits of different types of guns, as well as including many shooting tips. Accompanied by photographs and illustrations throughout.
CONDITION
In a smart, red cloth binding, with a black slip case. Externally, lovely, with minor shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Signed to the half title and limited edition page. Pages bright and clean. Slip case is also excellent, with shelf wear only.
