A 4 1/8 inch tall rectangular-shaped antique WHITE MILK GLASS bottle put out by the OWL DRUG Co. This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating back to early 1900.- Bottle embossed: "The Owl Drug Co." on back shoulder and front has an embossed picture of an owl perched on a druggists' mortar, stirring a pestle. The mortar is embossed with "TODCO / TRADE MARK". TODCo = The Owl Drug Co.
- Condition: This bottle is in excellent clean condition, near mint, as seen in the pictures. NO damage; NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. PLEASE see pictures for overall idea of bottle's appearance and condition.
- Age: An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. early 1900's.

These old milk glass Owl Drug bottles come in 6 different sizes, from the smallest 3 1/4" tall size (1 ounce) up to the 6" tall size (8 ounces). This one is the 2nd smallest size, the 2 oz. size, just about 4" tall. Most of these milk glass bottles contained cosmetic lotions and scents, hand/face cream, like Jergens lotion of today, hygienic cleansers, Calamine Lotion for poison oak, sun burn and skin cures, so the white bottles were a reflection of the products they carried. The pure, clean, and unblemished look of the white bottle is what would result from the use of the product within, SO the white glass is quite appropriate, check it out!
