Radiant natural emerald gemstone originating from Zambia. This weighs 2.65 CTS and has been cut and faceted into a classic emerald shape. The measurements are approximately 10.0 x 5.9 x 4.8 mm.

This high quality stone has a vibrant and deep green color, with a slight blueish undertone as typical with African varieties of emerald. This has been brilliantly polished to a vitreous sheen and displays reflective properties. The gem is fully transparent and has a good clarity, although there is some visible natural variations within it's surface. This is standard, as almost all emeralds have natural inclusions.

This is in great condition with no discernable damage or chips. We are pleased to report this is a fully earth mined gemstone with no treatments or fillers. There has been no external oiling to the best of our knowledge, however emeralds are typically placed in mineral oil at the source mines.
