Large natural multi colored white opal cabochon originating from Ethiopia. This weighs 14.90 CTS and has been cut into an oval shape. The measurements are approximately 18.9 x 15.4 x 10.5 mm.

This stone is not only quite large, but has a beautiful and bright flash of color that travels across the surface. Red and pink are the dominant tones, but gold, orange and green shades can also be seen shifting and "dancing" throughout the piece. As with all opals, the colors are most intense when viewed under a light source, either artificial or sunlight.

Don't be fooled by lesser imitations. This is not a doublet or filled product, this is solid earth mined stone gemstone. This particular piece is also free of any treatments.
