Hailing from the line of classic Middle Ages fashion comes the Basic Medieval Tabard. A tabard was  originally a humble outer garment of tunic form, generally without sleeves, worn by peasants, monks and foot-soldiers. By the second half of the 15th century, tabards were also being worn by knights in military contexts over their armour.  Tabards became an important means of battlefield identification with the development of plate armour as the use of shields declined. The tabard provides easy and convenient accessibility with adjustable ties on the side for the waist and a neck hole so it can slip on and  off. It also has open slits on the front. Includes the tabard only.  Does not include any other undershirt, pants, or other garments. Each Tabard tunic is made by hand and may vary slightly in appearances or precise dimensions. For cleaning,  we recommend gentle hand washing or dry clean only. Hang to dry.
