Mato Seibei no Slave is a Japanese manga work written by Takahiro and drawn by Yohei Takemura. It has been available on Shueisha's webcomic distribution site ""Shonen Jump+"" on Saturdays since January 5, 2019. The cover illustration is colored by OKADA, and as of January 2023, the total number of copies of the manga, including electronic editions, has exceeded 4 million[3].

Synopsis.

Several decades ago, mysterious gates called ""Kunado"" began to appear in various parts of Japan, connecting them to the otherworldly ""Demon Cities"". From there, ""ugly demons,"" monsters that like to attack people, appeared and caused the Demon City disaster, while ""peaches,"" which give different abilities to those who eat them, were also discovered. However, only women can obtain abilities from peaches, and because of this, society has long since been transformed into a female-dominated one, with all leaders in each country being women. The Japanese government has organized the ""Demon Protection Squad,"" a group of women who have acquired the ability, in order to counteract disasters caused by ugly demons and to manage peaches and the magical city that produces them.

One day in the year 2020. One day in the year 2020, Wakura Yuuki, an ordinary high school senior boy worried about his future, wanders into the Demon City through a gate that was suddenly opened. While being attacked by a swarm of ugly demons, he is saved by Kyoka Hazen, the leader of the Demon Protection Squad's 7th program, who rushes to his aid, but the enemies are numerous and the struggle continues. Kyoka then devises a plan to use her ""Slave Chain,"" an ability that strengthens and uses the target, which she had originally used on the ugly demons, on Yuuki. The enhanced Yuuki shows more fighting power than she expected and wipes out her enemies, winning her favor and an unexpected ""reward"" in exchange for his abilities. Thus, Yuuki becomes Kyoka's slave and the caretaker of the Seven Programs dormitory, where he spends his days fighting ugly demons.
