SAME EXACT SIGN IS CURRENTLY BEING SOLD FOR $350 ON EBAY.
Circa 1920’s this is a phenomenal early piece of NYC subway history. Beautifully detailed with a rich black background and beige lettering this is the actual piece of cloth sign that was displayed in the subway car beginning in the 1920’s. These early rollsigns look beautiful framed. These signs are getting harder and harder to find and have proven to not only be phenomenal collectibles but also great investments that continue to appreciate in value.
The photo is of the exact sign you will receive. Please zoom in to examine as this sign is not new, it has approximately 100 years of age, dirt, wear and character. I have several listed and each one is unique, no two are identical.
Please look through my other items as I will gradually be listing many, many other early NYC subway and bus rollsigns including cloth dating as early as the 1920’s and more modern mylar which dates to the 1970’s. I have more than 100 complete rolls and thousands of signs.
