These are excellent quality Chinese made pearl style spacer beads. These are almost as good as the more expensive Japanese made imitation pearl beads. Unlike some Chinese made gold bead, these have an extremely nice gold color and smooth texture. And unlike cheaper beads, there is no visible seam!! The pearl beads are not perfectly round which is normal. Generally speaking, they are about a half millimeter smaller measured hole to hole, than measured from side to side. The correct way to measure beads is from side to side. Below are the average measurements for these white faux pearl beads: S = [side to side] / H = [hole to hole] 3mm: S (2.9mm); H (2.5mm) 4mm: S (3.9mm); H (3.35mm) 5mm: S (4.7mm); H (4.25mm) 6mm: S (5.7mm); H (5.1mm) 8mm: S (7.75mm); H (7.25mm) Note: The larger 8mm and above have the larger hole that will accommodate a 2mm leather cord. Lightweight pearl beads unlike the heavier glass made pearl style beads. Color: All of the gold pearl beads listed here have the same matching gold color [Gold #2]. This gold matches other gold faux pearl listed as "Gold [#2]. Faux pearls are not meant to be worn directly on the skin. The acid in our skin can damage the finish.
