This auction is for:~ A lovely large figure group ~ I have seen a few versions of this piece but none as detailed as this one with the shamrock designs near the name

It features 2 gentlemen and their faithful dog sat putting the world to rights whilst having a bottle or 2 

'Irish Dresden, formerly Müller Volkstedt, was established 1907 in Thuringia, in a region known as the green heart of Germany and moved with the Saar family in 1962 to Ireland. They settled in the small town of Dromcolliher, situated on the Cork border in the beautiful Golden Vale region'

It measures approximately 8" inches high x 8" inches long x 6¼" inches deep ~ so as you can see a nice large (and heavy) piece

It is in very good condition ~ there is what appears to be a factory fault on the ground piece (see picture) but due to the realistic nature of this piece it could also be the natural wear in the flooring ~ either way it certainly doesn't look out of place

Some age related wear to the paintwork but again as you can see from the pictures it certainly doesn't detract from this fine piece 

It is backstamped on the base as per picture
