Circa 1916 this is an original heavy cast iron NYC municipal street sign corner frame that would be attached to the pole and would hold the two humpback streets signs and frames. It is beautifully ornate and detailed and there simply are not a lot of these out there for sale. At the time, when signage was modernized, municipalities did not see any value to these and they were likely melted down or thrown in landfills.

If you have a vintage NYC porcelain humpback street sign in its original cast iron frame, it is absolutely 100% guaranteed to fit inside this piece. Another fantastic thing is that by attaching this piece to your humpback frame, it will now be able to stand up on its own and can easily be displayed on a shelf, table…

A very, very scarce and exceedingly sought after go-with for any antique humpback street sign collector. They very rarely come up for sale, it will sell fast…
