For the serious audio hobbyist! You are bidding
on (1) Hafler IRIS FM tuner. From our purchase of the warehouse inventory of the Sound Values/Stereo Cost Cutters Inc. (SV/SCC) operation. These are all in various stages of assembly, some may have technical problems, some may be working, all are missing parts and are incomplete from at least a chassis standpoint (no covers, etc); boards may be missing components as well, though they look complete for the most part. We'll include a schematic diagram for the PC-51 front board and the PC-50 main board along with assembly/component diagrams for each (however no component list that we can find). As such, these are sold for the serious hobbyist who wants to trouble shoot (if needed) and complete the unit. No promises and no guarantees! Sold as-is for parts and are sold as non-working. These are unused but have been sitting around a dusty/dirty warehouse for years so are dusty and dirty; may have minor damage. These are a project and will need to be gone thru by an experienced tech for sure. Again, these are sold as-is for parts and are non-working at this time, they need repair and/or are good for parts. Please study the photos as they form a part of the description, photos are of the exact unit you will receive. AGAIN, CONDITION IS UNKNOWN, KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING, AS WE DON'T KNOW THE CONDITION, WE ARE SELLING AS PARTS/NON-WORKING/NEED REPAIR. NO RETURNS.
Vintage
Electron Inc. possesses the largest inventory of NOS Dynaco parts
available anywhere in the world, having purchased both the remaining
warehouse inventory of the old Sound Values/Stereo Cost Cutters Inc.
(SV/SCC) operation as well as the remaining inventory of the old Dynaco
National Service Center. SV/SCC was the company that purchased nearly
250,000 pounds of Dynaco parts when Dynaco closed it’s doors back in
1979; they also purchased the existing Hafler inventory from the
Rockford Fosgate Corporation back in the early 1990‘s. Quantities of
some parts (both Dynaco and Hafler) are very limited as can be
expected. Vintage Electron Inc. has no affiliation with the old SV/SCC
company and we do not provide repair services at this time for any of
the Sound Valves brand products. Please visit our store and search
under the Hafler section for additional Hafler items, search under the
Dynaco section for Dynaco items, and search under the Sound Valves
section for Sound Valves items. Thanks for looking at our listing and
be sure to check out our other listings and auctions for other items of
interest.
