 A nicely detailed vintage Peru sterling silver charm pendant of a Turk's cap flower(?).

Also known as the turban lily, swamp lily, lily royal, or American tiger lily, 
the Turk's Cap is a species of flowering plant of the hibiscus family. 
A favorite with hummingbirds, it is is native to the Southern United States, 
Mexico, Central America, and northern South America, as well as 
parts of the West Indies.

Although is unmarked, you can buy with confidence knowing all silver 
items, whether marked or not, undergo thorough testing before listing.

Contrary to popular belief, U.S. law does not require precious metal jewelry to 
be stamped with its precious metal content. UK law requires sterling silver items over 
7.78 grams be hallmarked unless the mark would spoil the appearance of the item.
