The Little Pilot
is the name of the Bing & Grondahl (B&G) 2019 Children's Day Plate. Imagine flying high in the sky in your own little airplane, waving down at the people in the town, where life goes on as usual. That’s the child’s fantasy captured on the 2019 B&G Children’s Day plate. This is the 35th in the series and was designed by artist Sven Vestergaard. The scene is molded into the porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen blue under the glaze. Diameter just over 5 inches (13 cm). Original MSRP (Retail Price) was $75; my price is less than half that.
EXCELLENT CONDITION (no chips, cracks, repairs or other defects), and FIRST QUALITY (no scratch through the trademark). This is original dealer stock, never displayed or sold at retail, still new-in-box with certificate. (Box shows minor shelf wear.)
