Illustrated by Richard Doyle, one of the most prominent illustrators of the Victorian era, known for his work for 'Punch'.

CONDITION

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart, with a little discolouration and just a few marks to the boards and spine. A little wear to the extremities. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A little cloth to the head and tail of the spin and to the bottom edge of the rear board. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age toned with some spots.
