Federal Signal MPEX explosion-proof manual pull station designed for hazardous and industrial environments where reliability matters. This is a heavy-duty fire alarm pull station with the classic two-step activation design: lift the front cover and pull down the ring to initiate the alarm. Built with a copper-free cast aluminum enclosure and finished in high-visibility red, the MPEX is made for demanding locations where flammable gases, vapors, combustible dust, or ignitable fibers may be present.

This unit is ideal for refinery, chemical, industrial, and other classified-location applications requiring a rugged explosion-proof initiating device. It features 120VAC, 60Hz, 6 amp continuous contacts, dual 3/4" conduit entries, and carries UL/ULC fire listings along with hazardous-location ratings including Class I, Division 1, Groups C & D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F & G; and Class III. The MPEX resets by depressing the shaft and returning the plate to its original position.

Included with this MPEX is the optional Fire-Lite MMF-301 Miniature Monitor Module, which supervises a Style B circuit of dry-contact input devices
