Description
For your consideration I have an incredible large antique late 19th century albumen photograph of a reenactment of the first Thanksgiving between the Pilgrims and Native Americans. As was the custom in England, the Pilgrims celebrated their first harvest with a festival. The 50 remaining colonists and roughly 90 Wampanoag tribesmen attended the "First Thanksgiving."
In this photograph there are actual Wampanoag Native Americans participating in this reenactment. This outstanding photograph is still housed in the original frame with slag board backing still intact. The photograph has not been removed for inspection.
